Our Story
Within our organization, we offer productions along with outreach programs. Our theatrical productions advance the highest possible standards of live theatre and encourage public appreciation of the art form while developing the audiences, artists, and patrons of tomorrow. Under the guidance of professionally trained adult directors, designers, and technicians, students collaborate on a full season of Broadway and Off-Broadway-style productions, musical productions, and other special performances. In addition to performing, students also fill technical positions including lights, sound, stagehand, and stage management.
Our Values
APITHTCO prides itself on the professional quality of its productions, exceeding the expectations of the label "children's theatre" by showcasing excellent theatre that just happens to be performed by young people and adults. Our Family Series productions are appropriate for all ages and performed by actors from 2nd through 12th grades and beyond.
